Joint Security Area (4/5):
Why was this such a hit? Fuck up will yer!!
Song Kang-Ho is the equivelant of Hugh Grant in... no. No one surpasses him.... except Leslie Cheung! ~
anyway, this film is about the DMZ in Korea, no... not Dragon Microphone Z, this is unrelated except for the reference to the battle between Vegeta VIIX and Gozen Yoji, who is distantly related to Gotan, or was it Trunks? You care! Anyway, this guy I forgot the name of plays Lee, a sergeant from the FUCK'N down under, which is not Australia, it's south "aza", aka Korea! Now, here's the complex part:
Anyway, this film is about friendship in times of goddamn war, just like that Joyeux Noel!! I forgot the accent didn't I you little bastards... the diaresis? How the hell do you spell Ridicule Of Kung Fu Films?
Note: this film would be a true classic... but remove that gay chick!! (this movie is by the director of Oldboy. By the way, the Hollywood remake has Rowan Atkinson as Oh Dae Su, Zhang Ziyi as Mido, John Goodman as Woo-Jin. the "other guy" is played by a voice actor with no "VisZual" skills whatsoever! damn! oh yeah, and Joo-Hwan is played by Steven Seagal, after his recent hit, "Out Of The Kill"!!!)
Chunhyang (5/5):
Im-Kwon Taek directs this piece of misanthropist bullshit, though it's only a 5 second trailer for a film by Park Chan Wook called "Sympathy For Lady Vengeance Is A Shit Title".
The film is based on one of the few surviving pansori tales, and recited to an enthuastic studio audience of some kind by a drummer and a vocalist, who has almost indenfinate choral range... damn that's sophisticated shit? Anyway, if you find a flaw in this film or the concepts of space-time, do not hesitate to not never contact someone who isn't not me... FIGURE DAT OUT fag, er, er, ano, eto, fuck EVA.
Passionate? hmm. Epic? hmm. sadistic? what?
Happy Together (5/5):
Why am I reviewing this? it's wong kar wai you realist morons... obviously it will be classic! anyone who says otherwise will not be heeded! you will be rendered a fool, no, a vagabond... insist on buying a claghorn for your fathers! anyway;
Happy Together is a film about two Lovers!: played by king of comedy, Leslie Cheung, and renowned British romantic comedy actor, Tony Leung (not Ka-Fai...)
anyway, they go to Argen-Tin-Ia, which is a fictional location, then go to Argentina, in search of waterfalls... they go through Several: romantic hardships, etc.
Chen Chang, reprising his neurotic role from the classic Hitchcock film, "Maniac Cop", is another object of Leung's (who plays Lu Fai..) affections, though this time it's more like a great friendship, that deserves to be treasured. and it damn well is, isn't it boy. ciao... italia
Juliet Of The Spirits (5/5):
Fuck'nn weird! Satyricon's sequel, Martin Potter isn't here though! the laughing guy is, Ascilto, though he plays some kind of sexual predator.
anyway, Fellini's wife Giuletta returns from La Strada and some other film, playing a mistreated wife... well, the husband is distant. he's seeing someone else? wasn't that obvious. Fellini packs the film with bizarre philosophy and typical moments of well-choreographed insanity... now where's my coffee?
Bird People In China (5/5):
Once again, an annoying chick ruins what could have been classic... but it's still a masterpiece! I have no idea why, so I won't bother commentingcya.
Cromartie 4 (6/5):
Much less emphasis on comedy this time around. It's more of a dramatic affair, not.
The show might seem somewhat pointless now, but who gives a shit about that anyway? This is a masterpiece, and it doesn't have any remote plot, which makes it 5 star from EVERYONE in Prussia. Maeda is once again the level-headed corruptoCON, Takenouchi is once more dieseased and overweight, his masked cohort is actually just a "mature figure" - he seems to have an ocean of profound wisdom despite his terrorist background, Kamiyama becomes a dickhead..!! trust me, Mechazawa is not the best character... that would be Hokuto, the incessantly digging... the political one!! He's not actually political at all, zaibatsu are just trade firms! Though, they did have influence at some point. Anyway, Hokuto is abrasive, horrific, and friendly fella all in one fun mixcha. His lackey is the violent cop you've seen in countless films (see "Hard To Kill"), and is finally taking down Bass, Manuel and Destrade - at the same time, or Kaos. Misato, a cute new transfer student, joins the class - but who will win her affections? Noboru Yamaguchi who doesn't even go to their school, or some fag from a boring romantic comedy anime?! Neither, because there are no females at Kuromati bye.
Fallen Angels (5/5): Wong Kar Wai.
Leon Lai is some professional assasin - luckily, this film does not sympathise with dipshits, and he progressively becomes a decent man anyway. the other character, a mute... person, who likes icecream, is probably the most interesting of the pair, and gets more screen time anyway. that annoying woman should not be tolerated, neither should that goth chick, but ah well. they were minor characters. the mute's dad was especially classic! now that's it from me, hello, wai, oi joon-suki.
- Shin Joong Hyun

for he is the devils pawn.
alone among gods primates.
he kills for sport,or lust,or greed.
yay he will murder his brother to posses his brothers land.
let him not breed in great numbers,
for he will make a desert of his home, and yours.
shun him, drive him back into his jungle layer.
for he is the harbinger of death.
